My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing/dancing/listening to your wonderful band at the Barak wedding last night. You must have seen us on the floor the whole evening. I wore a long glittery black & gold straight gown, and my husband had a suit with a blue button down.
I just had to drop you a line to tell you how wonderful you guys are. What a beautiful voice Heather has!
My 2 daughters already are married, or I would have hired you in a quick moment. However, you never know if I will not have another celebration and will be calling on you.

The Royz Band. Wow!
The Royz Band. Wow! We really wanted something special for our wedding and we went to hear them sing at a Frosh party at UofT last September (which I highly recommend).
We booked the duo (flute and guitar) to play at our ceremony. They also played "cool" jazz throughout the cocktail hour at the bar area. Then the band sang live throughout the night. Our first dance was to a live rendition of FLY ME TO THE MOON.
We danced throughout the WHOLE night and it made for a really fun night - dancing between courses, between speeches - we just DANCED. The guests were ready to party and it just amplified the band's energy. They did this amazing rendition of "Home For A Rest" that just tore the place up!
They were also very patient with my requests, played everything I wanted (I didn't even bother with a list of songs not to play, I trusted their judgment) and were able to perform a wide range of music for all the age groups. When they're not playing live, they supplement with DJ, so you're able to get the best of both worlds. Trust me, we had jazz, latin, limbo (!?!), slow songs, fast songs and yes, we even played Notorious BIG. Insane.
Oh yeah - Heather is very attentive and quick to respond to correspondence.
Very professional. Book them. Now.

I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to thank you for doing such a wonderful job at our wedding last weekend. Everything was just great - of course, we missed most of the cocktail reception because we were getting pictures taken, but from the sounds of things everyone really enjoyed it.
You guys sounded fabulous during dinner, and I want to thank you for being so attentive and accomodating during all the poems! I can't believe how many people got up to do that, it must have been a little frustrating to try to get through a song!
And of course during the dance part you were absolutely wonderful as well! Everyone had a great time and we got a lot of compliments about you. I know our little cousins Josie and Sierra that were dancing all night had a great time with you too!

Royz Band is truly the ‘best of the best’!
Dear Heather:
My husband and I have been reminicing all week about our daughter's wedding last Saturday at the Halton Region Museum. The Royz Band is on 'the top of our list' for making the entire day so memorable.
Your band members are exceptional, not only for their expertise and professionalism, but also for their versatility.
We were so impressed with the beautiful sounds that you created from the time the first guests arrived to their reluctant departure in the wee hours of the morning.
I have never heard such a beautiful classical duo as the flute and guitar prior to the ceremony. Then, the saxaphone created a fabulous atmosphere of 'soft' sounds on the patio while guests mingled and chatted.
The musical interlude between courses in the dining room made dancing more fun than eating!
We were all up dancing when dinner was over, (even those who aren't crazy about dancing). The music was contagious and the choice and variety of songs called 'all' to the dance floor. Heather, the range of your voice and your interpretation of our favourites kept us on our feet all night!
No wonder Royz Band is in such high demand! My husband and I have many years behind us and Royz Band is truly the 'best of the best'

Hi Heather,
Just to let you know that people are still talking about what a great time they had and how terrific the band was.
One of the children went to another wedding a week later and asked her father when she could go on stage with the band like she did with you. It certainly made the evening memorable for them. The hoola hoops were a terrific idea for the kids and made the evening a real swingin affair.
